Being the best means dominating all others, showing no mercy to your opponents, and crushing them beneath your feet. Our boy’s volleyball team has done just that by relentlessly showing no mercy and climbing up an endless mountain to claim the title of #1 in the state. Sean Coffinger explains how he and the team made it so far through the season with a exceptionally good record: “Our fans have always been the ones to motivate us and just have shown our talents to their highest extents during our games.”
Crushing each opponent one after another is difficult while still having to overcome so many obstacles to make it to their destination now. “Our main obstacle that we had to overcome was the prevention of injuries.” Being as it is volleyball is a tough sport requiring players to run, slide and do all sorts of things to prevent the other team from scoring. With the season coming to an end, the final preparations are being made for the state game to claim the title of # 1 in the state. (At press time, the team was in the semi-finals.) Like a fire feeding on oxygen this volleyball team is livingoff of victories.
“Our competitive spirit is what drives us to be able to win and to keep coming back for more wins. Positive attitudes and competitiveness is the drive to being the best.
Our Thunder boys volleyball team had made it to the playoffs and sadly lost 0-3 in all three of there games.
