Diseases come every now and then, but then that all changed with the blink of an eye. In the year 2009 around April the came a report that pigs became sick and spread a new type of flu. At first it was know as Swine flu, which rapidly spread across the entire world killing many people of estimates unknown. Schools where shut down because of the spread, and children where advised to stay at home in the case that they were indeed infected to help keep others safe.
As of December 26 there has been a dramatic decrease in the amount of people being affected by the disease. This is because an unknown man in china created a vaccination, which later was used in almost every hospital. As of late November it has been announced that everyone should still be aware of the flu and still get vaccinations for it.
In any hope to find a treatment for the disease, the vaccination is the only hopeful cure for the flu although it was believed to have been unstable for human injections. Although there is a way around the flu, its simple just wash your hands as much as possible. People will need to stay cautious of this disease because it is still life threatening because the vaccination is unstable. Junior A.J. Bird shares his strategies of defeating the flu: “ I’m very cautious for myself and I wash my hands more often because of the flu because I don’t want to get sick”. These methods are still effective against the flu and can stop the spread from a simple handshake, which is the leading spread of the flu.
