Preparing To Bring The Pain

                   For DV wrestlers, it is the time to go to work!  Our State runner-up team prepares for their upcoming season by enduring brutal conditioning.  DV wrestlers are always seen running around Lakewood on Saturday mornings.  They are determined to win State this year, as can be seen in their practices.  The wrestlers keep their practices up beat and up to pace.

The wrestling teams have expressed how they strive to win the regional, city, and state tournaments.  Sophomore Andy Redwine states his opinion on the upcoming season and hopeful achievements: “We as a team are working harder than ever and we feel that nothing can stop what we are bringing to the table this year.” Redwine placed 4^th in the regional tournament, along with other wrestlers for last year’s regional matches.

Our wrestling team is known for housing the best of the best.  They are notorious for having 1^st place athletes and strive to keep it that way.  Every day at 3:30 the wrestlers are involved in intense training with Coach Gonzalez who gives a brief insight on the wrestlers performance:  “I see the change in the team, the hope and desire that I would expect from these seniors,  this year will be different and we will win”.
