Coffee vs. Tea

Recently, a new political branch has been taking center stage at rallies and on news shows: The Tea Party. What does the Tea Party stand for? Proponents of the movement say that they are all about creating a voice for the people by minimizing government. However, they tend to believe that the only way to reach their goals is through revolution and overthrowing aspects of the government.

The Coffee Party counterpart, which is just emerging onto the scene, wishes to approach the problems we are facing in our government by participating in the democratic process and not always labeling the federal government as the enemy. It strives to bring the voices of the people into the spotlight through grassroots movements and by supporting leaders who work positively for progress within our government.

By working peacefully to promote progress within the government, the Coffee Party will be better able to acheive their goals.
