Bring Less, Pay Less

The time that we never thought would has come. Our economy is in such a slump that airlines, specifically Spirit Airlines, are now charging to 45 dollars for every carry on that you put in the overhead compartments. They are the first airline to do this, and will most likely not be the last. Each passenger will be allowed to bring one carry on bag for free to stow under the seat and for all the others, get out your wallet!
The airline representatives are suggesting that the best possible way for us to save is the new “bring less, pay less” policy. Since our economy is so terrible, they feel like they have to charge for everything in order to make a profit. It is angering many people, including myself, and will push customers away to other airlines, like Southwest, who go by their motto of “bags fly free”.
After carry-on’s what will be next? Charging to use the bathrooms? I do not think so.
