Two thumbs up for Tim Burtons “Alice in Wonderland”. The movie was an escape from reality. With the plot way different from the original story by Lewis Carroll, Alice returns to wonderland and does not remember any of the characters such as Cheshire, and the Mad Hatter. She must fight the evil Red Queen and her monster the jabberwocky. The movie was an overall success, making more than $116 million dollars the first week opened.
Here are what some students thought about the movie;
“I didn’t like it that much. Its too different from the original Disney one, and that’s my favorite.” thought freshman Anna Collins.
“I thought it was really good. The graphics are cool, especially since I saw it in 3D. Any Tim Burton movie is usually really good,” said freshman Danielle Anderson.
“It was alright. I didn’t really see anything special about it. It went really slow in the begging but got better towards the end.” said sophomore Tony Crawford.
“It was alright. It kind of wanted to make me fall asleep.” Said freshman Sarah Pigusch
It was ok. I liked the plot and everything, it was just too long and slow“said Jovanna D’Errico
