Living at the library

The lunch bell rings and a swarm of students come pouring into to the library either to do their home works/assignments on the computers or to sit at the tables. DVHS library has three computer labs and a few computers outside the labs for students to research or work on outside the classes. It has a wide range of books and much more.
It is a very busy place more like a study room with students focusing on their work and reading, issuing books, chitchatting at the tables and much more. It is noisy and loud at times too. The library is mostly after and before the five or ten minutes of the bell ringing that is during the lunch hours. The computers get occupied quickly by students who are completing and rushing through their work through and by students who are researching or either playing games out of bored. The use of the computers for playing games, a non-educational purpose slows down the server and the working pace the pace of the other kids who are using the computers. But because they are more students than they are computers, the waiting line gradually increases. Since most of the high school students try to finish their work just before the deadline there are always people who are waiting patiently to complete their work.
Library is a great help to the students as well as the classes for research purposes. But in the recent days the server of the computers is working quite slow, therefore the use of the computers for playing games is being avoided. The library hours are from 7:15 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. for the student’s very own convenience.
