The amount of lockers in the girls PE room is adequate, however the number of locks is not sufficient, as seen in image above.

In the typical, cheesy, high school movie you will notice three elements to high school: teenagers, teacher, and lockers. Desert Vista High School does have lockers but only for the students requiring them most, athletes! Students taking a sport before, after or during school need lockers to store away their athletic wear and shower products during the school day.
However this year it seems that there are too many students and too few locks. This means that many students who have not yet received their lockers, and do not own a car to store their bags in, have to lug heavy bags from class to class! Megan Kuprus, a cross country runner said: “I just carry my stuff around school. It’s not fun to carry around but I don’t want my stuff getting stolen.”
This is just one example of the many sports participants who feel this way. Mr. Todd Ford, a physical education, tries to solve the problem. He has ordered 300 new locks for the school and is expecting them at the beginning of September. Until them, sit tight DV athletes, help is on the way.
