I liked your newsy and easy to read feature and the fact that you included so many
quotations from others. Everybody likes to see their name in print except criminals.
Because you can be the best and the brightest, here are a couple of minor suggestions. Die for the hair is actually spelled dye. In the first sentence, when you talked about fads being "out", does "out" mean out of fashion or out and about
(current). Usually, when a fad is called out it means it is no longer popular. In your next to last sentence, the predicate is has not have. The subject is majority which is singular. Students is not the subject. Your take-away for future writing is the subject of a sentence is never found in a prepositional phrase.

Mickey mouse device is right. Who has ever heard of being able to proceed with caution on a flashing red light? We are all taught from a very early age that red means stop. The first week this device was installed North & South bound traffic was so so confused with the blinking red lights it was frustrating and comical all at the same time, let alone the East and West bound traffic that has no stop or go indicators and are left to figure things out for themselves also. If anything this device should be flipped around and have double flashing yellows to show drivers to proceed with caution, or just install a standard 4-way stop light. I am glad that something was installed to help the children, but I do not feel that it was a very well though through process.
