BROOKE: Today on this Monday… May 14th 2012…there was a line at the bookstore as many students hurried to buy parking passes and yearbooks… or to return last minute items such as their textbooks… before the year finally comes to a close…

BROOKE: I’m Brooke Serack… Thanks for joining us for our final DVTV this school year…

BROOKE: Even though the end of the year is drawing to a close…and some of you seniors have seen their faces around for four years… many of you still don’t know some of the incredible back stories of the DV Security Guards. Take a look…

(PKG)

BROOKE: Thank you to all of our fabulous security guards. If you are interested in purchasing Tom Lambke’s book Spirit, Courage and Resolve stop him in the hallway and you can get a signed copy for only 20 dollars. If you see Darryl Elston wish him luck as he competes for a spot on the US olympic team in London. And thank you to all the other security guards we could not mention as well.

BROOKE: Although this is our last show… we have quite a few announcements for DV.

BROOKE: Asian student union t-shirts are on sale now! Come to room C272 after school today because you will be electing officers for next year and this will be the last meeting of the year

JORDAN: Saturday was the night most of you Juniors and Seniors have been waiting for all year… Prom night..here is a quick recap of the evening..

JORDAN: This is what it looked like without throngs of people…a beautiful venue… a European village… then slowly wonderfully dressed juniors and seniors came in for an night amidst the stars… in long and short dresses tuxes and suits… the upperclassmen we normally see in jeans and tshirts cleaned up nicely and took to the dance floor… to the tunes provided by DJ …AJ Slim… Even though the dancing was energetic the venue stayed cooler than previous proms due to the open roof… Then there was a time out to announce prom king and queen… A couple from the senior class became king and queen and a couple from the junior class became prom prince and princess…The king and queen were Zach Warner and Ashley Rosseli… and the prince and princess were Pablo Picardo and Dana Cobb… As the evening wore on water became a necessity… as exhausted dancers began to leave and by 12:05 the dance floor was empty once again…
